Race 1 - CRAFT RENTALS MAIDEN 315m

1. Kaniva Check – Deviated its attention from the lure towards a runner on the outside entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Trevor Lindsay regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lindsay pleaded guilty to the breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

6. Baby Shocker – Shifted wider on the first turn. Checked entering the front straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8. Cambla Assault – Faulted in its actions and gave ground on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a torn back muscle under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 42 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS NOVICE (1) 460m

2. Power Up Annie – Checked and became unbalanced on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

3. Barry’s Boy – Severely checked and fell on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - TAB NOVICE (2) 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 4 - ISFAB MA5 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 5 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (1) 460m

1. Midnight Prince – Deviated its attention from the lure towards a runner on the outside entering the front straight. Steward’s spoke to trainer Narelle Mulcahy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue 28 days stand down at Bundaberg and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 6 - WALKER ST WHOLESALE BAKERY GRADE 5 (2) 460m

4. Monstera – Faulted in its actions and gave ground in the back straight, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next. This matter will be referred to the injury review panel.

Race 7 - BUNDABERG WILDCARD HEAT 1 OPEN 531m

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the back straight and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

5. Ethan’s Thunder – Severely checked and disadvantaged in the front straight on the first occasion. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious injuries, however deemed the dog was exhausted and slow to recover. No stand down period was imposed.

Race 8 - BUNDABERG WILDCARD HEAT 2 OPEN 531m

3. Genius You – Checked entering the second turn. Deviated its attention towards runner on the outside in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a hip muscle strain. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer John Kuhn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the front straight. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury a 7 day stand down at Bundaberg and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 3/4 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 10 - TOTAL GREENS TURF MIXED 4/5 315m

7. Baby Thor - Late scratching at 11:23 am due to weight variation (GAR 101(1). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Craig Emery was fined $100 acting under GAR 101(3)(b)

Race 11 - GLOBAL TURF GRADE 5 (1) 315m

8.Orson Allison – Faulted in its actions and shifted wider entering the first turn. Gave ground on the first turn. Faulted in its actions entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and a hip muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.
