Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 460m

1. Kasey’s Cash – Faulted in its actions and checked entering the second turn. Checked on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed shoulder and hip muscle strains. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. And will need to perform a veterinary clearance trial.

2. Victory Hights – Checked and gave ground soon after the start. Checked heavily on the second turn.

3. Baby No Go – Shifted wider and checked on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed pad lacerations. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 2 - MUNN'S PLUMBING NOVICE 460m

1. Buck Burrow – Checked entering the back straight. Muzzle became dislodged during the event.

2. Prince Danube – Checked entering the back straight. Gave ground entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside hip muscle and offside wrist sprain. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 3 – SKY RACING NOVICE 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 4 - TOTAL GREENS TURF GRADE 5 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 5 -GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 4/5 315m  

3. Aces Up – Faulted in its actions and shifted wider entering the first turn, before colliding with and running along the wall, giving ground before regaining balance and resumed running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed triceps and deltoid muscle injuries and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 6 - CARVE INDUSTRIES MIXED 3/4 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 7 - GLOBAL TURF MIXED 4/5 460m

3.Nitro Slim – Tightened for racing room, lost footing, and fell heavily on the first turn before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside shoulder bruising and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

4. Cash Handy – Deviated attention towards a runner on the outside entering the front straight. And again, in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed hip and sub lumbar muscle strains and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Mr Neil Bowe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury a 10 day stand down at Bundaberg and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5. Spitfire Rhodes - Deviated attention towards a runner on the outside approaching the winning post but didn’t make muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed deltoid and triceps muscle injuries and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Mr Dennis Isles regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury a 5 day stand down at Bundaberg and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 8 - QGOLD FINAL OPEN 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 9 - WALKER ST WHOLESALE BAKERY GRADE 5 (1) 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 10 - CRAFT RENTALS GRADE 5 (2) 460m
