General:

· After stewards reviewed video footage race 2 was declared a no race due to the lids not opening properly and disadvantaged at least two greyhounds.

· In accordance with LR 22 Mr Steven Boody was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code.

· In accordance with LR 22 Mr Timothy Jones was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code.

· In accordance with LR 22 Mr George Clegg was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code.

· In accordance with LR 22 Mr Ben Davey was issued with a warning regarding the non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code.

Race 1 - SHERRIFF ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 2 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS NOVICE 460m

· The all clear was delayed allowing stewards to review the footage following the lids malfunctioning.

· Race 2 was declared a no race due to the lids not functioning properly. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR 110 declared the event a No Race. The liaised with the starter and other club staff and the issue was rectified before the remaining 460m races.

Race 3 - RACE REVOLUTION MIXED 3/4 315m

7. Sherman – Checked and disadvantaged entering the first turn. faulted in its actions approaching finishing post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside foreleg laceration. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 4 - CRAFT RENTALS MIXED 4/5 315m

3. Power Maid - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a minor toenail injury and  no stand down period was imposed.

6. Burrum Assassin – Dragged down from behind and shifted wider and checked on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside and offside sub lumbar muscle strains and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

7. Sunburnt Ridge – Checked and fell on the first turn, before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside shoulder bruising and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 5 - ISFAB GRADE 5 (1) 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 6 - GLOBAL TURF GRADE 5 (2) 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 7 - WALKER ST WHOLESALE BAKERY MIXED 4/5 460m

8. Spring Crash – Checked off the hind quarters of another runner on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 8 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 531m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 9 - SKY RACING 5PW 460m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 10 - CARVE INDUSTRIES GRADE 5 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 11 – TAB MA5 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.
