General:

· During the stewards’ trial Runner Miss Mabel faulted in its actions and eased in the first turn, a veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury and has been stood down for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to returning to racing. This matter will be referred to the Greyhound injury review panel.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 315m

2. Darkside Tango – Checked shortly after the start, disadvantaged entering the first turn and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist sprain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) was stood down for 10 days.

Race 2 - SHERRIFF ELECTRICAL NOVICE 315m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 3 - SKY RACING NOVICE 460m

8. Easy As That – Slow to begin, checked off the heels of another runner on the first turn. Checked and tightened entering the second turn.

Race 4 - RACE REVOLUTION MIXED 3/4 315m

6. Duncan Country – Checked entering the first turn. Checked and gave ground on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7. Typhoon Tex – Checked, lost footing, and fell entering the first turn before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to offside and nearside  shoulders and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) was stood down for 5 days.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MA5 460m

3. White Like Snow – Tightened for racing room, checked, and disadvantaged entering the front straight.

4. Jonah Love - Tightened for racing room, checked, and disadvantaged entering the front straight.

6. Righteous Bale - Tightened for racing room, checked, and disadvantaged entering the front straight.

Race 6 - GLOBAL TURF 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 460m

6. Tip Top Ethics - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a minor tail laceration. No stand down period was imposed.

Race 7 - CRAFT RENTALS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 460m

6. Eric’s Pick – Lost ground entering the back straight and faulted in its actions entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside wrist sprain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) was stood down for 10 days.

Race 9 – ISFAB GRADE 5 (1) 315m
