Race 3 -GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (1) 315m  

4. Wacky Wally – Checked soon after the start. Checked off heels and gave ground on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 4 -GLOBAL TURF MIXED 3/4 315m  

· No matters of concern to stewards

Race 5 - CRAFT RENTALS MIXED 4/5 460m

7. Farmor Leeway – Shifted wider entering the front straight. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Steven Scott regarding the greyhounds actions in the front straight. Mr. Scott stated that the greyhound tends to shift wider in the straight. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 6 - UNCLE RUSTY'S PHOTOS GRADE 5 531m

3. Red Yogi – Faulted in its actions soon after the start and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside and offside sub lumbar muscle strain, and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

5. Aston Zeppelin –  Gave ground entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke with trainer Mr Gary Cluse regarding the greyhounds performance, Mr Cluse stated that the greyhound had not started in over 80 days and is planning on trying the dog over a shorter distance in the future. Stewards noted the explanation.

6. Go Go Cambla – A post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request revealed no significant findings. Following an incident in the catching pen

Race 7 - MUNN'S PLUMBING 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 460m

2. Not At All – Checked, faulted in its actions, shortened stride and gave ground on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside leg injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next.

7. Weblec Spark – Checked entering the second turn. following an incident in the catching pen at the trainers request a post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside fibula injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 42 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next.

Race 8 - MAYOR'S CUP OPEN 460m

· Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

· No matters of concern to stewards

Race 9 - TOTAL GREENS TURF GRADE 5 (2) 315m

6. Buttercup Babe – Checked and gave ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside wrist sprain, triceps and deltoid muscle injuries and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
