The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 5 ALL BUT CENTRE
Nil
LACHY KNOCKA and POPPA’S PICK both began well. WILDASH FRED was slowly away. LUSIMA and JESSICA’S MONEY were both wide racing into the top turn. Through the top turn FAWN DRAGON was checked off the heels of POPPA’S PICK and lost ground. LACHY KNOCKA which was following was also checked. Approaching the home turn HEATHEN BRETT was inconvenienced after improving onto the heels of LACHY KNOCKA. LUSIMA, MONOCHROME and WILDASH FRED were all wide at the home turn.
CALL ME CHARLES and HI HOMBRE both dwelt at the start. Leaving the catching pen CALL ME CHARLES lost ground when tightened between runners. PUNGUSHE was wide at the home turn. WILDASH DIDDY, CALL ME CHARLES and HI HOMBRE were all wide for the majority of the event.
Race 3 – 5th
Grade 410m
WILDASH DUKE, BELLA MARLO and STARZAR GOLD all began well. VELOCITY ONO and CASH QUEEN both dwelt at the start. Leaving the catching pen WILDASH MONTE was checked off the heels of STARZAR GOLD and as a result shifted out onto the running of VELOCITY ONO and CASH QUEEN which were both inconvenienced and raced wide.
Race 4 – 4th
Grade 410m
BANDALORE was best to begin. COSMIC
LAMP was slowly away. Approaching the top turn BANDALORE shifted in checking
the running of CASH KING. Through the
top turn AMY’S ELITE shifted in checking the running of BANDALORE.
Race 5 – 3/4th
Grade 410m
MALIAN REIGN was best to begin. TICKFORD and ALL BUT CENTRE were both slowly into stride. Approaching the top turn TICKFORD shifted out onto the running of ALL BUT CENTRE which lost ground. COSMIC PAULY was wide at the top turn.
