the best to begin. STARZAR GOLD was
slow to begin. SNAKE PROOF checked off
EILEEN JOY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. SHEEZ FAB checked off POPPA’S PICK and lost
ground entering the back straight.
EILEEN JOY and POPPA’S PICK bumped prior to turning into the front
straight resulting in EILEEN JOY losing considerable ground. SNAKE PROOF and BILLY KNOCKA raced wide in
the home straight. |

KATHY DOWN 5th GRADE 410M BRUTON MISS was the best to
begin. MIDNIGHT EDITION was tightened
for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. CALL ME CHARLES shifted in on the turn into
the back straight resulting in BLUE BOY YOU being checked and losing ground
and MACADAM being checked and losing ground.
CALL ME CHARLES checked off MIDNIGHT EDITION and lost ground in the
back straight. BLUE BOY YOU checked
off MIDNIGHT EDITION and lost considerable ground after turning out of the
back straight. CALL ME CHARLES raced
wide in the home straight. |

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX HEAT 1 544M Even start. SELFIE shifted out shortly after the start
bumping MID WESTERN GIRL who lost ground.
SELFIE continued to shift out bumping FLASH HOUDINI causing that
greyhound to lose ground. SPUDNUT
raced wide on the turn out of the front straight. SELFIE and FLASH HOUDINI bumped on the turn
out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced
and losing ground. ATOMIC OPIE and
PEPPA PIG CLOUD bumped entering the front straight causing inconvenience to PEPPA
PIG CLOUD. |

GRAND PRIX HEAT 2 544M Even start with CABOCHON slow to
begin. ASA EXTREME and KERRIE’S A MINX
bumped in the front straight on the first occasion. RAIL GUN checked across the heels of ANGRY
ALICE and became unbalanced and raced wide on the turn out of the front
straight. RHONDA’S DYNO and SHAKE YOUR
BOOTY raced wide in the home straight. |

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX HEAT 3 544M ROCKET’S MAGIC was the best to
begin. ZIPPING CARLTON and VELOCITY
KYZON bumped as the start was effected resulting in both greyhounds losing
ground. ZIPPING CARLTON checked across
the hind quarters of VELOCITY KYZON on the turn out of the front straight
resulting in ZIPPING CARLTON becoming unbalanced, losing considerable ground
and racing wide on the turn. |

SPORTS SCENE CAIRNS 3/4th
GRADE 410M PRINCE OF DOOM was the best to
begin. CASH QUEEN was slow to
begin. CASH QUEEN lost ground
approaching the turn into the back straight for no apparent reason. A veterinary examination of the greyhound
revealed an off hind muscle injury. HI
HOMBRE shifted in from a wide position on the turn into the back straight
tightening MONOCHRONE who lost ground.
HI HOMBRE continued to shift in checking BANDALORE who also lost
ground. BANDALORE checked off the
heels of MOO MOO and lost ground in the front
straight. MONOCHRONE and HI HOMBRE
raced wide in the home straight. |

SPIRIT and FROM THE TAP slow to begin.
OUR MADAM was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after
the start. General tightening occurred
on the turn into the back straight resulting in FEARS THE WORD being checked
and losing considerable ground. DIVVY
UP checked off BELLA MARLO and lost ground entering the back straight
resulting in WESTOVER being inconvenienced.
FROM THE TAP checked off KEZZA’S SPIRIT and lost ground entering the
