LUSIMA was the best to begin.  DIAMONDBACH was slow to begin.  GIVEAWAY LASS checked off HEATHAN BRETT and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  CURRIED SAUSAGE checked off the hindquarters of LUSIMA entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.  LUSIMA raced wide into the home straight.

SHOUT ROYALE was the best to begin.  CRACKLIN’ ROSIE checked off BLUE BOY YOU and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.

RACING QUEENSLAND APPRECIATION STAKES 5th GRADE 410M

MALIAN REIGN was the best to begin.  ASA ENSEE FLY checked across the heels of EILEEN JOY and raced wide into the back straight.  EILEEN JOY and POPPA’S PICK bumped entering the back straight resulting in POPPA’S PICK losing ground.  POPPA’S PICK raced wide into the home straight.

BILLY KNOCKA was the best to begin.  ZIPPING BUBBA checked off MADAGASTER and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  MADAGASTER shifted in on the turn into the back straight tightening TAE RAE in on to BILLY KNOCKA who was checked and lost ground.  TAE RAE checked off CALL ME CHARLES and lost ground in the back straight.  MACADAM checked across the heels of MADAGASTER and bumped ANGRY ALICE on the turn into the front straight resulting in MACADAM becoming unbalanced and ANGRY ALICE losing ground.  CALL ME CHARLES raced wide into the home straight.

CONGRATULATIONS DOUG AND BETH 5th GRADE 544M

Even start with SCOTTIE’S GIRL slow to begin.  REBEL CAIN and PATJACK LOMAR bumped as the start was effected.  MONOCHRONE and FERNLEE STAR bumped shortly after the start.  MONOCHRONE and ZIPPING CARLTON bumped in the front straight on the first occasion.  PATJACK LOMAR and FLASH HOUDINI bumped in the front straight on the first occasion resulting in PATJACK LOMAR losing some ground.  ZIPPING CARLTON shifted out on the turn out of the front straight forcing FERNLEE STAR to race wide.  MONOCHRONE checked across the heels of PATJACK LOMAR on the turn into the home straight and then raced wide in the straight.

CAIRNS GREYHOUND RACING CLUB 4th GRADE 410M

ON DECK was a late scratching at 8.35pm on veterinary advice.  Bookmakers were advised to rule off the betting sheets and no deductions were ordered.

 

COSMIC FREEZE was the best to begin.  PA TING and KOSIE KASHKOW were slow to begin.  COSMIC FREEZE checked across the heels of PA TING and lost ground on the turn into the front straight causing interference to PRINCE OF DOOM.

FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND TRAINERS APPRECIATION STAKES BEST 8 410M

BELLA MARLO was the best to begin.  HI HOMBRE checked off SMILES ALOT and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  BANDALORE and AMY’S ELITE bumped prior to turning into the front straight resulting in AMY’S ELITE losing ground.  HI HOMBRE and SMILES A LOT bumped entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

CAIRNS GRAND PRIX FINAL 544M

ROCKET’S MAGIC was the best to begin.  RHONDA’S DYNO and ATOMIC OPIE bumped in the front straight on the first occasion resulting in RHONDA’S DYNO losing ground.  ASA EXTREME shifted out on the turn out of the front straight causing some inconvenience to SPUDNUT and SHAKE YOUR BOOTY.  ATOMIC OPIE and IT’S HIS JOB bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and ATOMIC OPIE racing wide.  IT’S HIS JOB checked off KNIGHTS TEMPLAR and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  RHONDA’S DYNO and SHAKE YOUR BOOTY raced wide in the home straight.
