best to begin. RHONDA’S STAR was slow
to begin. LUSIMA checked off MOTOWN
HOLLY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. GIVEAWAY LASS checked off MOTOWN HOLLY and
lost ground entering the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to
WATCH THE MAGIC. LUSIMA checked across
the heels of RHONDA’S STAR on the turn into the front straight. |

IRENE DRURY MEMORIAL MAIDEN HEAT 2 410M Even start with INDISPENSABLE slow
to begin. NORTHUMBERLAND was tightened
for racing room and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back
straight. COOPER’S LESSON checked off
CAPTAIN DJAY and lost ground entering the back straight. CHARLOTT’S MISS checked across the heels of
HEATHAN BRETT in the front straight. Handler M. Pandelakis
was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 86(o) – negligent for failing to
remove the collar on INDISPENSABLE prior to boxing the greyhound. |

HEAT 1 410M The
start of the race was delayed 1.30 minutes due to interstate harness racing. Even start with PERFECT SISTER slow to
begin and CHIEF START marginally slow to begin. General
tightening occurred on the turn into the back straight resulting in BRUTON
MISS and SMILES A LOT being checked and losing ground. TAE RAE checked off BRUTON MISS and lost
ground after turning out of the back straight. CABOCHON raced wide into the home straight. SMILES A LOT raced wide in the home
straight. |

FISHERY FALLS 4/5th GRADE
HEAT 2 410M PA TING and BIG BAD BLOCKER were the
best to begin. WESTOVER was slow to
begin. COSMIC MARLOW shifted out
across the heels of WESTOVER entering the back straight bumping ASA TOP AGENT
forcing that greyhound to race wide resulting in both greyhounds losing
ground. WESTOVER checked across the
heels of RIP VAN WINKLE entering the home straight. |

FALLS 4/5th GRADE HEAT 3 410M MALIAN REIGN was the best to begin. CRUSHED ICE was slow to begin. POPPA’S PICK checked off KEZZA’S SPIRIT on
the turn into the back straight resulting in POPPA’S PICK becoming unbalanced
shifting out causing interference to WHAT’S FOREVER. SPRING CLOVER checked off POPPA’S PICK and
lost ground entering the back straight. Handler L. Christian was fined $50
under the provisions of GAR 86 (o) negligent for attempting to box CRUSHED
ICE in the incorrect box. |

EMMA BRYANT CAIRNS CUP HEAT 1 544M SPUDNUT was the best to begin. ATOMIC OPIE was slow to begin. SPUDNUT shifted in shortly after the start
tightening POISED TO POUNCE in onto PEPPA PIG CLOUD on to ELUSIVE DIVA
resulting in all three greyhounds being inconvenienced. RAGING THUNDER checked off ELUSIVE DIVA and
lost ground in the front straight on the first occasion. ELUSIVE DIVA raced wide on the turn out of
the front straight. ATOMIC OPIE
checked across the heels of ELUSIVE DIVA prior to turning into the back
straight. KNIGHTS TEMPLAR checked
across the heels of POISED TO POUNCE and lost ground on the turn into the
home straight. Shortly after KNIGHTS
TEMPLAR shifted in and again checked across the heels of POISED TO POUNCE. RAGING THUNDER tailed off and finished a
distant last. Stewards advised trainer
J. Schafer that the performance of the greyhound was unsatisfactory and
subsequently RAGING THUNDER was stood down from racing until the completion
of a satisfactory trail. |

EMMA BRYANT CAIRNS CUP HEAT 2 544M Even start with BREMER slow to
begin. BEHM and ROCKET’S MAGIC bumped
shortly after the start resulting in ROCKET’S MAGIC becoming unbalanced and
bumping ANGRY ALICE causing ROCKET’S MAGIC to lose ground. BREMER shifted out on the turn out of the
front straight bumping ROCKET’S MAGIC on to ANGRY ALICE causing ANGRY ALICE
to race wide. NICE NURSE FRANK checked
off CABARET TONIGHT and lost ground in the back straight. ANGRY ALICE and BEHM raced wide into the
home straight. |

LAMP slow to begin. FLASH HOUDINI,
RUBY’S MAGIC and BIG EASY RED bumped shortly after the star resulting in the
three greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. COSMIC LAMP checked across the heels of
ZIPPING BUBBA and lost ground in the front straight on the first occasion. RUBY’S MAGIC shifted out after turning out
of the front straight bumping COSMIC LAMP resulting in both greyhounds losing
considerable ground. BLUEFIRE CHALICE
checked off FLASH HOUDINI and lost ground on the turn out of the back
straight. |

HEAT 4 410M Even start. MACADAM crossed from a wide position on the
turn into the back straight tightening FACE TIME in on to CARLYLE TYCOON on
to ZIPPER IT MACCA on to GUNNADOO COBRA resulting in all these greyhounds
being checked and losing ground. BUENA
VISTA checked off FACE TIME and lost ground entering the back straight
causing interference to STARZAR GOLD. GUNNADOO
COBRA and FACE TIME raced wide in the home straight. The photo finish camera failed to
operate and the placings were determined visually
by the judge. |

to begin. LIBERTY LEGS checked off
BANDALORE and lost ground shortly after the start resulting in interference
to HI HOMBRE. BANDALORE checked off
SHOUT ROYALE and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight. HI HOMBRE shifted out entering the home
straight to race very wide. MAKING
WAVES and LIBERTY LEGS bumped entering the home straight. KOSIE KASHKOW and HI HOMBRE raced wide in
the home straight. |
