TJS CLEANING MAIDEN 410M

Even start with OSPREY LIZ slow to begin.  ELITE AND BLACK and HEATHAN BRETT bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in HEATHAN BRETT losing ground.  OSPREY LIZ checked across the heels of ELITE AND BLACK on the turn into the front straight.

CAIRNS BULK MEATS 5th GRADE 410M

ALL FUELED UP was the best to begin.  GIVEAWAY LASS was slow to begin.  NOVA PARTY checked off CHATAWAY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  SKY BOND raced wide into the front straight.

KAY CEE VIDEOS 5th GRADE 410M

CALL ME CHARLES and SMILES ALOT were the best to begin.  HIGH CLASS MISS and CYCLONE ROSIE were slow to begin.  HARA’S SIZZLE was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  CALL ME CHARLES checked across the heels of HARA’S SIZZLE and CYCLONE ROSIE to race wide on the turn out of the back straight.  SMILES ALOT checked off the heels of TEMNICK and lost ground back on to CYCLONE ROSIE resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground.  CALL ME CHARLES and SMILES ALOT raced wide in the front straight.

BROTHERS LEAGUES CLUB 5th GRADE 410M

ABSOLUTE SERIAL was the best to begin.  PRETTY ERIN and BLACK MASS bumped shortly after the start resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  SHE’S SO CLASSY checked off MANHATTAN MAID and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight.

GEORGE TSAKISSIRS 4/5th GRADE 410M

POPPA’S PICK was the best to begin.  IT’S HIS JOB was slow to begin.  CRUSHED ICE was tightened for racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  ZEPHYR ZEUS and PRINCE OF DOOM bumped in the back straight causing some inconvenience to CRUSHED ICE.  CRUSHED ICE and BOOTYDO bumped on the turn into the front straight.

 

Stewards questioned the racing manners of CRUSHED ICE in particular the front straight.  A veterinary examination of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.  Subsequently acting under the provisions of GAR 69A CRUSHED ICE was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

6.

FRANZANS PLUMBING BEST 8 410M

Even start.  WESTOVER and BANDALORE bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  SELFIE lost ground entering the back straight and continued to lose ground taking no further competitive part in the race.  A veterinary examination revealed an off side hock injury.  SELFIE was humanely euthanised by the veterinarian.
