MEMORIAL MAIDEN FINAL 410M ZIPPING QUINT was the best to begin. WILD ASSASSIN was slow to begin. SHE TELLS LIES checked off JOJURI and lost
ground shortly after the start. HEZ
BOBY DAZZLER checked off JOJURI and lost ground on the turn into the back
straight resulting in interference to LITTLE MAGICIAN. JOJURI was tightened for racing room and
lost ground entering the back straight resulting in interference to HEZ BOBY
DAZZLER and SHE TELLS LIES. WINNIE’S
ROSE shifted out to race wide into the front straight forcing GLIDING MISS
wide. |

FALLS 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 410M PALE FACE SCOTCH was the best to begin. GUNNADOO TWIST checked off SMOOTH FLAME and
lost ground on the turn into the back straight. LISCOYLE LADY and PASS THE AMMO bumped
entering the back straight resulting in LISCOYLE LADY losing considerable
ground. |

start with SCOTTIE’S GIRL, GAGAN NANCY and HARA’S FLYER slow to begin. ALL FUELED UP was tightened for racing room
and lost ground on the turn into the back straight then raced wide in the
back straight. SCOTTIE’S GIRL checked
off ARTHUR’S STEVIE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. TOES shifted out and checked across the
heels of HARA’S FLYER on the turn into the front straight. ARTHUR’S STEVIE and TOES bumped on the turn
into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. |

begin. HE TELLS LIES was tightened for
racing room and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. FROM THE TAP checked off the heels of SWEET
ROXETTE on the turn into the front straight resulting in both greyhounds
losing ground. SWEET ROXETTE shifted
out across the heels of FROM THE TAP resulting in HE TELLS LIES being forced
wide on the turn into the front straight.

BLUEFIRE CHALICE checked off FLAPPING GUMS on the turn out of the
front straight resulting in interference to THEY WATCH who became unbalanced
and shifted out causing interference to PUT THONGS ON and WHATTA PASS. |

CAIRNS CUP HEAT 2 544M Even start.
BURNER BUNT shifted out on the turn out of the front straight
resulting in PARIS AUGOGO being forced wide on to CHIPS AHOY causing PARIS
AUGOGO to become unbalanced and lose ground back on to INNOCENT MAN. CHIPS AHOY checked off NOVA PARTY and lost
ground on the turn into the back straight.
BURNER BANT checked across the heels of NOVA PARTY on the turn into
the front straight resulting in interference to MANHATTAN MAID. CHIPS AHOY shifted out on the turn into the
front straight bumping BURNER BANT and MANHATTAN MAID causing both those
greyhounds to lose ground. |

CAIRNS CUP HEAT 3 544M SPUDNUT
was the best to begin with NOT A WORD and NOT LIKE TOMMY slow to begin. NOT A WORD and VIDI VICI raced wide on the
turn out of the front straight. GOLDENPAW
FLYER and NOT LIKE TOMMY bumped on the turn out of the front straight
resulting in NOT LIKE TOMMY losing some ground. SLOW DANCER checked off SPUDNUT and lost
ground on the turn into the back straight. |

CAIRNS CUP HEAT 4 544M BRUTON MISS was the best to begin. ZIPPING OUTLAW was slow to begin. PYRO BOB check off DIAMOND FIESTA and lost
ground approaching the turn out of the front straight. ZIPPING OUTLAW shifted out and raced wide
on the turn out of the front straight forcing PYRO BOB wide. THRILLA STROKE raced wide on the turn out
of the front straight. MURLEY ON
FRIDAY and ZIPPING CARLTON bumped on the turn into the back straight. KERRIE’S A MINX checked off ZIPPING CARLTON
and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference
to MUTLEY ON FRIDAY. KERRIE’S A MINX
and MUTLEY ON FRIDAY bumped entering the back straight resulting in both
greyhounds losing ground. PYRO BOB
checked off ZIPPING OUTLAW and lost ground prior to turning into the front
straight. THRILLA STROKE shifted out
and made muzzle contact with DIAMOND FIESTA on the turn into the front
straight. Subsequently stewards acting
under the provisions of GAR 69 stood THRILLA STROKE down from racing for a
period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for marring. |

FALLS 4/5th GRADE HEAT 4 410M Stewards questioned trainer Michael Davies in
relation to the scratching of EASY OFF from the race. Mr Davies explained the
circumstances in relation to the scratching which stewards deemed to be
unacceptable, however due to the circumstances stewards took no further
action. Even start with GIVEAWAY LASS slow to begin. General tightening occurred on the turn
into the back straight resulting in TOP TELLER and SHE’S SO CLASSY losing
ground. CALL ME DORY raced wide into
the front straight. |
