Stewards Trial 1 – 410m

The greyhound MAGIC LOUISE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 410m in a time of 24.91.

CURTIS PITT MP MAIDEN 410M

LIBBY’S HERO was the best to begin.  ROCKET’S BUDDY and BANJO AN’ HENRY were slow to begin.  TRACEY’S HERO checked off the heels of LIBBY’S HERO and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.  TRACEY’S HERO shifted out across the heels of LIBBY’S HERO on the turn into the front straight.  BANJO AN’ HENRY raced wide into the front straight.

Even start with ALL LIQUORED UP slow to begin.  KARMA’S TIME raced wide into the front straight.

PET CAFE 5 GRADE 410M

Even start.  DISPLOSION checked off FARINGDON and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight.  SLATER’S PICK and NOT FADE AWAY bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

MANNINGS PIES 5 GRADE 410M

POPPA’S PICK was the best to begin.  NOT A WORD checked off the heels of MONOCHRONE in the back straight resulting in NOT A WORD becoming unbalanced and almost falling.  A veterinary inspection of the greyhound revealed no abnormalities.  MONOCHRONE raced wide into the front straight.

5.

MONSOON LEATHER 4/5th GRADE 410M

LOTS OF TIME was the best to begin.  SPUDNUT and SCOMELD were slow to begin.  BURNER BANT checked off BEAMING BOUNCER and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SPUDNUT and SCOMELD.  BEAMING BOUNCER checked off the heels of LOTS OF TIME and lost some ground entering the back straight.  SCOMELD checked off BURNER BANT and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  SPUDNUT shifted out on the turn into the front straight to race wide.

6.

FGF BITCUMEN BEST 8 410M

CHIEF BOLT was the best to begin.  LEAD CONTENDER shifted out across the heels of MANHATTAN MAID to race wide into the front straight.  MANHATTAN MAID and HARA’S FLYER bumped entering the front straight and again in the front straight.  MANHATTAN MAID was inspected by the veterinarian who reported soreness to both hind leg muscles.
