SEA FOOD TOWNSVILLE NOVICE 410M Even start with PARIS AUGOGO slow to begin. CREED checked off BANJO AN’ HENRY and lost
ground on the turn into the back straight.
Shortly after PEARLING checked off TRACEY’S HERO and lost ground
causing interference to BANJO AN’ HENRY.
CREED checked off PEARLING and lost ground entering the back straight. CREED raced wide entering the front
straight and continued wide down the straight. |

ATHERTON 5th GRADE 410M Trainer R. Lound
was fined $50 under the provisions of GAR 39.1 for presenting MR. MERVE with
a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound
Racing. Subsequently MR. MERVE was a
late scratching from the event. Even start with MR. CANNA slow to begin. SLATER’S PICK and SMOOTH FLAME bumped on
the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. KARMA’S TIME and MR. CANNA raced wide in
the front straight. |

WHEEL DRIVE ATHERTON 4/5th GRADE 410M CASEY MINI ME was the best to begin. MISS LARDIE DA was slow to begin. NOT A WORD checked off BIG SAV and lost
ground on the turn into the back straight causing interference to GOLDENPAW
FLYER. BUNDY CUTTER checked off CASEY
MINI ME and lost some ground prior to turning into the front straight. NOT A WORD shifted out entering the front
straight bumping SWEET ROXETTE causing that greyhound to lose ground. Shortly after NOT A WORD and FARINGDON
bumped resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds. |

start with FROM THE TAP slow to begin.
HARA’S FLYER checked off LEAD CONTENDER and lost ground prior to
turning into the front straight. FROM
THE TAP shifted out bumping HARA’S FLYER making muzzle contact with that
greyhound entering the front straight resulting in HARA’S FLYER becoming
unbalanced and losing considerable ground.
Stewards questioned the racing manners of FROM THE TAP in particular
in the front straight. Subsequently FROM THE TAP was stood down from racing
for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trail for
marring. |
