BEARINGS MIXED M/5 – 410M SHORT
CUT CHARLY was difficult to box and delayed the start. SHORT CUT CHARLY will be boxed first in
future races. Even
start. ORBILICIOUS lost ground sharply
as the start was affected. PREMIER
SHAMROCK was slow into stride as the start was affected. JUST
KISS IT checked off WESTMEAD WARRIOR and lost ground on the turn into the
back straight. Stewards
questioned the racing manners of SHORT CUT CHARLY in particular the back
straight. After reviewing the film and
speaking to the trainer Mr A. Metcalfe, Stewards acting under the provisions
of GAR69 stood SHORT CUT CHARLY down from racing for 28 days and the
completion of a satisfactory trial for marring JUST KISS IT in the back
straight. ORBILICIOUS
raced wide in the front straight. |

begin. ACK ADDI checked off HANNAH JAY JAY and lost
ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to
GOLDENPAW FLYER. |

ground on the turn into the back straight causing interference to ARTHUR’S
STEVIE. KARMA’S TIME checked off the heels of BANJO
AN’ HENRY and lost ground in the back straight. ARTHUR’S STEVIE shifted out entering the
front straight to race wide forcing HARA’S SAM to race wide |

STOCKS FROZEN FOOD MIXED 3/4 – 410M SPRING BEK was the best to begin. SPRING POLLY and MR. CANNA were slow to
begin. LOTS OF TIME was tightened for racing room
and lost ground entering the back straight. SPRING POLLY was tightened for racing room
and checked off JACOBY RAIDER entering the back straight. BIG SAV and AKABORU bumped on the turn into
the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and
losing ground. |

BEST 8 – 410M Even start. LEAD CONTENDED was tightened for racing room
and lost ground shortly after the start. FERAL CHERAL was tightened for racing room
and lost ground on the turn into the back straight causing some inconvenience
to BRUTON MISS. LIBBY’S HERO shifted out entering the front
straight bumping TOP TELLER resulting in both greyhounds being inconvenienced. FERAL CHERAL raced wide in the front
straight. |
