HEAT 1 366M Even
start. On jumping CAPTAIN ZERO shifted
in bumping WEE REMI. Shortly after the
start DIRTY STREET PIE shifted out causing WEE REMI to be hampered and
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
CAPTAIN ZERO shifted in bumping DASHING BOND.
Shortly after the 200m CAPTAIN ZERO shifted out causing DASHING BOND
to check across the heels of CAPTAIN ZERO causing DASHING BOND to lose
ground. Shortly after this WEE REMI
raced green and bumped SIZE WISE, causing WEE REMI to lose ground. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start VIKING AURO shifted out whilst BUNDY BUCKS
shifted in causing DEVINE TOKEN and MISS PEREGIAN to be checked. Shortly after JIMARY BOURBSKI, SUMMER
QUAYS, JAMES BOND all raced tight.
Shortly after this VIKING AURO shifted in whilst BUNDY BUCKS shifted
out causing significant interference to DEVINE TOKEN and MISS PEREGIAN
causing these runners to be checked. |

NOVICE 366M Helen Sant
acted in the official capacity of Judge in this race as Trish Fuller had a
prior interest with SERIOUSLY GRAND. Acting on
advice from starter SPEEDY GAGAN will now be endorsed ‘hard to box’. Even start
with the exception of CARLTON CREW which was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start NOSMO KING and
BROKEN PROTOCOL bumped. Approaching
the 200m BROKEN PROTOCOL checked across the heels of SPEEDY GAGAN. In the run to the finish HARA’S HOOK began
to falter and lost ground. The greyhound
HARA’S HOOK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 2 366M Even start with the exception of BEATTIE best to
begin. Shortly after the start MISS
BECKY SAM and SHAYLOR SAM bumped.
Shortly after this MISS BECKY SAM began to gradually shift to the
outside of the track. In the run to
the finish SOUTHERN FLOSS and ZAFONIC DANCER bumped and raced tight. |

5th GRADE HEAT 3 366M Even start with the exception of DEVINE FROSTI who was
slow to begin. Approaching the 200m
point DON’T KNOCKA TOM and CYCLONE MARLOW bumped. Approaching the 100m mark
GUNSTOCK and CELESTIAL SELENE raced tight which caused CELESTIAL SELENE to
check across the heels of GUNSTOCK and lose ground. In the run to the finish GUNSTOCK checked
across the heels of DON’T KNOCKA TOM. The greyhound DEVINE FROSTI underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 4 366M Even start with the exception of MADAM MEDUSA who began
awkwardly. On jumping VIKING BUDDY
bumped MADAM MEDUSA. Approaching the
200m MADAM MEDUSA and ZAFONIC FORCE raced wide. Just prior to the 100m ZAFONIC FORCE
appeared to ease and failed to pursue the lure. The greyhound ZAFONIC FORCE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Jovicic that
the greyhound would be stood down pursuant to Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue,
1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 366m all
tracks. |
