VERNON MEMORIAL HEAT 1 366M Even
start with CLASSY VALE marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start LITE ME UP ran to
the inside colliding with IBRAHIMOVIC resulting in both greyhounds to lose
ground, at the same time HAYDEN’S BOY ran to the outside bumping with a
CLASSY VALE resulting in HAYDEN’S BOY to be hampered. Approaching the 200m SPUDTASTIC ran to the
outside bumping with CLASSY VALE. |

BOB VERNON MEMORIAL HEAT 2 366M Even start with the exception of LUCITA and DEMOLISHMENT
which were marginally slow to begin.
Shortly after the start DEMOLISHMENT ran to the inside, at the same
time RUNOUT BOY, SAPPHO and TOOKA RUNA all raced tight resulting in TOOKA
RUNA and SAPPHO to marginally lose ground.
At the 200m SUNSHNE SQUARE ran to the inside resulting in LUCITA to
check off heels and marginally lose ground, at the same time CATCH ME KEITH
ran to the outside resulting in SAPPHO to check off the heels and lose
ground. At the 100m SUNSHINE SQUARE
ran to the inside colliding with RUNOUT BOY on numerous occasions resulting
in RUNOUT BOY to lose ground also hampering LUCITA. The greyhound SUNSHINE SQUARE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. B Hazelgrove
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 366m all tracks. |

BOB VERNON MEMORIAL HEAT 3 366M Even start
with DUCKS AND DRAKE best to begin.
Shortly after the start THIS IS LEGIT ran to the outside. PEYTON JOYCE and SMART SHIRL bumped
resulting in SMART SHIRL to lose ground.
Approaching the 200m KONICHIWA, WALL OF VOODOO, RISING SON and WOODY’S
PRINCE collided resulting in WOODY’S PRINCE to lose ground and RISING SON to
fall and take no further competitive part in the event. At the 200m WOODY’S PRINCE ran to the
inside. The greyhound
RISING SON underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

NOVICE 366M GIFTED PINES was best to begin with NOIRE CHERIE,
JAYCEE’S LADY and YO VALE were marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start GIFTED PINES ran to
the inside, at the same time FANCY FREEL, CAPTAIN MORSE and NOSMO KING
collided resulting in NOSMO KING to lose significant ground. At the 100m NOIRE CHERIE ran to the inside. The greyhound NOSMO KING underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

GRADE HEAT 1 366M HERO HAYDOS was best to begin, LOOK THE PART and SHAYLOR
LES were marginally slow to begin.
Shortly after the start CAPTAIN TIL and HERO HAYDOS bumped resulting
in CAPTAIN TIL to lose ground, at the same time LOOK THE PART ran to the
inside, soon after SHAYLOR LES and DRAGON DANCER bump. Approaching the 200m LOOK THE PART and
CAPTAIN TIL bumped. At the 200m
SHAYLOR LES ran to the inside. LOOK
THE PART and BEST SHARED bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. After the 200m AND WE DANCED
clipped off the heels of CAPTAIN TIL resulting in AND WE DANCED to be
hampered. Approaching the 100m BEST
SHARED and SHAYLOR LES bumped on numerous occasions resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound BEST SHARED underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start SHAYLOR BART and TINY TIARA collided resulting
in TINY TIARA to run to the outside.
Approaching the 200m TINY TIARA and STRAIGHT SHADOW bumped. SHAYLOR BART ran to the outside. Approaching the finishing line STRAIGHT
SHADOW ran to the inside. The greyhound ALLPA MAMA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TINRY TIARA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 3 366M LATE SHOW SNOWY was best to begin with FROSTY ZERO slow
to begin. Approaching the 200m PIZARRO
ran to the inside colliding with FROSTY ZERO resulting in FROSTY ZERO to be
hampered. At the 200m KUROI NAZO
clipped the heels of SOUTHERN FLOSS resulting in KUROI NAZO to falter. |

5th GRADE HEAT 4 366M Even start, FROSTY BROWN and GAGAN CEE
JAY were slow to begin. Shortly after
the start FROSTY BROWN ran to the outside.
Approaching the 200m BIG TRIGGER and DOLLY BLOO bumped resulting in
both greyhounds to be hampered. At the
same time PAN YOKO ran to the outside.
At the 200m mark BIG TRIGGER and DOLLY BLOO bumped on numerous
occasions. |
