TRIALS
Stewards Trial 1 – 366m The greyhound NITRO KNOCKA performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 366m in a time of 20.77 and is restricted to Capalaba only.

RACE REPORTS
1.	MAIDEN 366M At the start KNOCKA ON FIRE and HEARTLAND FLASH collided resulting in HEARTLAND FLASH to shift inwards and KNOCKA ON FIRE to shift outwards. Shortly after ARABIAN GO GO and SONNY GEORGE collided resulting in ARABIAN GO GO to be checked. Approaching the 200m WEE REMI was tightened for room, checked and shifted inwards.

2.	NOVICE 366M MAGIC SWIFTLY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC SWIFTLY shifted outwards. Approaching the 200m BACK ON TRACK and SHINTARO STAR bumped on a number of occasions, were hampered and lost ground. Leaving the 200m BACK ON TRACK shifted outwards. Over the concluding stages of the event BACK ON TRACK contacted the hindquarters of HEARTLAND FLYER resulting in both greyhounds to be checked.

3.	BITCHES 5^th GRADE 366M IRONBAR JILL was slow to begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC SENORITA, TINY TIARA and SOUTHERN FLOSS were tightened for room resulting in MAGIC SENORITA and SOUTHERN FLOSS to be hampered and TINY TIARA to be checked and shift outwards. At the 300m GRAND ANGEL shifted outwards resulting in ISLA’S STYLE which was racing to its inside to be checked. Approaching the 100m SOUTHERN FLOSS collided with TINY TIARA resulting in that runner to be checked. The greyhound IRONBAR JILL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Ashley Sommerfield with regards to the performance of IRONBAR JILL. Mr. Sommerfield stated the greyhound needs an early lead to be competitive and its poor start was indicative of its overall finishing position. He further stated that he would trial the greyhound in the coming weeks to assess its racing future. Stewards noted his explanation.

4.	5^th GRADE 366M JALANCY LEE and SPANISH HARBOUR were slow to begin. Shortly after the start GOTTA BE BLACK and GO TO CONDONG bumped resulting in both runners to be hampered. Approaching the 200m all runners with the exception of HARA’S HOOK, SUPA SMOOTH OSTI and GOTTA BE BLACK were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. Leaving the 200m JALANCY LEE and SINGLETON collided resulting in both runners to be checked. The greyhound JALANCY LEE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5.	5^th GRADE 366M LUCKY CALL was slow to begin. Shortly after the start LUCKY CALL shifted inwards and collided with CHILLED HEAT and SHAYLOR ANDRE resulting in all runners to be checked. Approaching the 200m SHAYLOR ANDRE and CHILLED HEAT collided resulting in both runners to be hampered. RUMBLE DRIVE which was racing to their inside was hampered as a consequence. Approaching the 100m RUMBLE DRIVE checked outwards and made contact with the hindquarters of SHAYLOR ANDRE resulting in that runner to be checked. Shortly after RUMBLE DRIVE continued to shift outwards and collide with CHILLED HEAT resulting in both runners to be checked.
	SWABS TAKEN: MAGICAL YESSAM – Post Race – Donald Massey (unable to obtain
6.	BOB VERNON MEMORIAL FINAL 366M Even start. At the start DANCED ALL NITE shifted outwards and collided with LUCITA resulting in both runners to be checked. Shortly afterwards SMART SHIRL shifted inwards and collided with DUCKS AND DRAKE resulting in both runners to be checked. Approaching the 300m SMART SHIRL shifted inwards and collided with DUCKS AND DRAKE who in turn shifted in and collided heavily with CATCH BE KEITH resulting in all runners to be checked to varying degrees. SKIP TO IT which was racing to their inside was hampered and shifted outwards as a consequence. From the 200m SKIP TO IT and DANCED ALL NITE bumped on several occasions resulting in both runners to be hampered. Shortly after CATCH ME KEITH shifted outwards and raced along the outside for the rest of the event.

7.	4^th GRADE 366M Even start. Approaching the 200m EL’S ON SHOW shifted outwards and CY TOLLIVER shifted inwards. Leaving the 200m HOOP DREAMS shifted outwards. Over the concluding stages of the event MADAM LOOPSY contacted the hindquarters of EL’S ON SHOW resulting in that runner to be checked.

8.	5^th GRADE FINAL 366M IT’S ABOUT TIME was slow to begin. At the start IT’S ABOUT TIME shifted outwards. Shortly after the start all runners with the exception of IT’S ABOUT TIME were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees as a consequence. Leaving the 200m GAGAN CEE JAY shifted outwards.

9.	5^th GRADE 366M Even start. At the start BIG TRIGGER, GIFTED PINES and HARA’S SAM were tightened for room and all checked to varying degrees. At the 300m BIG TRIGGER and GIFTED PINES collided resulting in both runners to be checked and shift inwards. Approaching the 100m HARA’S SAM shifted inwards and bumped HURRICANE CHANCE resulting in both runners to be momentarily hampered. Over the concluding stages of the event GIFTED PINES shifted outwards resulting in HARA’S SAM which was racing to its outside to be hampered.
