366M Even
start with ALIMAY OSTI marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start SPICE THAT,
VELOCITY WILLOW and FEAR THE FLYER all collided resulting in FEAR THE FLYER
to lose ground. Approaching the 200m
mark ALIMAY OSTI, CATCH ME KEITH and SPICE THAT all collided resulting in all
greyhounds to be hampered. At the same
time VELOCITY WILLOW and FEAR THE FLYER bumped on numerous occasions
resulting in FEAR THE FLYER to run to the inside. After the 200m SPICE THAT shifted onto the
heels of SONNY GEORGE resulting in SPICE THAT to lose ground. The
greyhound SPICE THAT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for
a period of 10 days. |

NOVICE 336M Even start.
Shortly after the start NOIRE CHERIE, NOSMO KING and DUBLIN DUCHESS
all collided resulting in NOSMO KING to lose ground. Approaching the 200m mark NOIRE CHERIE,
BACK ON TRACK and DUBLIN DUCHESS collided resulting in NOIRE CHERIE to lose
ground and BACK ON TRACK to run to the outside. |

5th GRADE 366M Even
start. Shortly after the start all
greyhounds collided except SHAYLOR LES resulting in HURRICANE CHANCE, CUSTOM
MODEL and SHAYLOR BART to marginally lose ground. Approaching the 200m SHAYLOR BART and
SHAYLOR CLEDUS ran to the outside.
Approaching the 100m HURRICANE CHANCE ran to the inside. The greyhound
SHAYLOR LES underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

CAPALABA DERBY HEAT 1 366M The race was held up as the lure tower lost power and had
to reset. Even start.
Shortly after the start TOO MANY BILLS and REFLECTED collided resulting
in TOO MANY BILLS to lose ground.
Approaching the 200m SINGLETON ran to the outside colliding with
OUTBACK SUNSHINE and REFLECTED resulting in all greyhounds to be
hampered. Approaching the 100m OUTBACK
SUNSHINE ran to the inside. |

CAPALABA
DERBY HEAT 2 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start all greyhounds except CAPTAIN TIL and MR.
TERRIFIC collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the 200m 7 ran to the inside colliding
with MR. TERRIFIC and ALPHA ZEPHYR resulting in MR. TERRIFIC to be
hampered. At the 200m MR. TERRIFIC ran
to the outside clipping the heels of CAPTAIN LOUIE resulting in CAPTAIN LOUIE
to be hampered. Approaching the 150m
CAPTAIN LOUIE and ZABDON BLUEY bumped on numerous occasions and lost
ground. Approaching the 100m mark 3
and 4 bumped on numerous occasions at the same time ALPHA ZEPHYR and CAPTAIN
TIL bumped. |

CAPALABA DERBY HEAT 3 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start TOOKA TURN and ACE bumped. Approaching the 200m ELEGANT STRIDER ran to
the outside colliding with TOOKA TURN and STRAIGHT SHADOW resulting in
ELEGANT STRIDER to lose ground. At the
same time 1 to lose ground. STRAIGHT
SHADOW ran to the inside colliding with ACE resulting in both greyhounds to
be hampered. At the 200m TOOKA TURN
ran to the outside and checked colliding with ACE resulting in ACE to be
hampered. The greyhound ACE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start LONNIE’S BANJO ran to the inside colliding
with FUNNY FELLOW and DRAGON DANCER which both shifted to the outside. Approaching the 200m WAITKARIE SYLVIE
shifted in colliding with FUNNY FELLOW and DRAGON DANCER resulting in DRAGON
DANCER to be hampered and lose ground.
At the 200m LAST ONE OUT clipped the heels of FUNNY FELLOW resulting
in LAST ONE OUT to be hampered. |

4/5th GRADE 366M Even start. Shortly after the start GO TO CONDONG and
CHAMNPAGNE SALLY collided resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground and
shift to the inside of the track. At
the same time CY TOLLIVER, MOTOWN HOLLY and EL’S ON SHOW all collided
resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.
At the 200m CY TOLLIVER ran to the inside of the track. After the 200m MAGICAL YESSAM and BABY
BASSIN bumped on numerous occasions resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. |
