The greyhound HARA’S SAMUEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.  When questioned on the performance of the greyhound, particularly over the concluding stages of the race, trainer Mr. D. Titmarsh noted that the greyhound was returning from a spell and he believed that in hindsight HARA’S SAMUEL may have lacked some condition as he had expected a more forward showing from the greyhound.  Stewards noted Mr. Titmarsh’s comments.
