TUCKER was slow to begin. Shortly
after the start DEVINE TOKEN and SONTREI MESCUAL checked off heels causing
SONTREI MESCUAL to lose ground. |

NOVICE 366M Even start.
Shortly after the start MR. BLUE COMICS shifted out colliding with
SURFIN’ GIRL. Passing the 100m SURFIN’
GIRL, MR. BLUE COMICS and SUSHI COWBOY raced tight and unbalanced. SUSHI COWBOY and SURFIN’ GIRL continued to
race tight for some distance and both greyhounds were hampered. |

NOVICE 366M SQUARE BARE
was best to begin while INDIANA BENZ was slow. Shortly after the start SQUARE BARE, SKIP
TO IT and SLIP MY MIND collided.
SQUARE BARE, SKIP TO IT and MARIE’S GIFT raced tight and bumped for
some distance thereafter. Approaching
the 200m SLIP MY MIND checked off heels.
At the 200m SKIP TO IT and SQUARE BARE collided. |

GRADE 366M BONKNOCKA PRINCE was best to begin while SENOR’S SON was
slowly away. Shortly after the start
SIMPLY MAGIC and SENOR’S SON collided.
Shortly after, POWER JET and RUDOLFINUM came together. At the 100m OUR WILD JACKO and HEADGEAR
collided. OUR WILD JACKO and BIG
WINSTON came together in the run to the finish. |

off heels shortly after the start. Shortly after, SPRITELY WALK checked off
heels and became unbalanced. Approaching the 100m HARA’S SAM shifted in
towards the rail. |

slowly away. |

GRADE 366M HARA’S SAMUEL was slow to begin. FROSTY FANTASY and HARA’S SAMUEL collided
shortly after the start. Approaching
the 200m BABY BASSIN shifted out and collided with PACIFIC HARBOUR and HE’S
THE ONE that was following was hampered.
FROSTY FANTASY was hampered in the concluding stages. The greyhound HARA’S SAMUEL underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the performance of the
greyhound, particularly over the concluding stages of the race, trainer Mr. D.
Titmarsh noted that the greyhound was returning from a spell and he believed
that in hindsight HARA’S SAMUEL may have lacked some condition as he had
expected a more forward showing from the greyhound. Stewards noted Mr. Titmarsh’s comments. |
