TRENCH VAPOUR and REDNECK BANJO were best to begin. Shortly after the start WALL OF VOODOO, SPEICAL SHOW and SONNY GEORGE collided resulting in SPECIAL SHOW to shift in. Approaching the 200m WALL OF VOODOO shifted out. At the 200m TRENCH VAPOUR stumbled and shifted out with SONNY GEORGE shifting out as well. Leaving the 200m TRENCH VAPOUR and SONNY GEORGE collided resulting in SONNY GEORGE to shift in and lose ground. At the 100m DORRIE’S PICK and TRENCH VAPOUR bumped resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.

MAIDEN FINAL 366M

Even start with DOLLY’S WALLY coming up with the lids. Shortly after the start BERT SWANG, ALPHA ATLAS and DEVINE TOKEN all collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the 200m BERT SWANG and DEVINE TOKEN collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. At the same time TOKEN TOFF shifted in with ALPHA CHAOS shifting out. At the 200m BERT SWANG and DEVINE TOKEN collided resulting in BERT SWANG to shift out with DEVINE TOKEN to shift in. At the 100m BERT SWANG clipped heels and was hampered.

The greyhound DOLLY’S WALLY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

3.	NOVICE 366M Even start with OUT DELIVERANCE and SENTRY’S CALL slow. Approaching the 200m SENTRY’S CALL shifted out. At the 200m HEZA CLASSY SIZE and OUR DELIVERANCE collided resulting in HEZA CLASSY SIZE to lose ground. Leaving the 200m OUR DELIVERANCE, KNOCKA ON FIRE and SENTRY’S CALL collided resulting in OUR DELIVERANCE to shift in with KNOCKA ON FIRE and SENTRY’S CALL to be hampered. At the 100m SENTRY’S CALL and KNOCKA ON FIRE bumped on numerous occasions resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.

4.	5^th GRADE 366M Even start. Shortly after the start all greyhounds except SKIP TO IT collided, were checked and lost ground to differing degrees. Approaching the 200m SKIP TO IT and CAN OF SPRITE bumped on numerous occasions. At the same time LONESOME HERO shifted in with HANG ON LADS shifting out. At the 200m SKIP TO IT and VALENTINO JACK collided. At the same time LONESOME HERO and CAN OF SPRITE bumped. Leaving the 200m CHEEKY CHANCE clipped heels, checked and shifted in. Approaching the finishing line LONESOME HERO and CAN OF SPRITE bumped.

Even start with CHAMPAGNE SALLY marginally slow. Shortly after the start DRAGON DANCER, RUNYA DOWN, GO TO CONDONG and CHAMPAGNY SALLY all collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the 200m GALLEON, CHAMPAGNE SALLY and RUNYA DOWN all collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered with DRAGON DANCER to shift out. At the 100m CHAMPAGNE SALLY, RUNYA DOWN and GALLEON collided resulting in CHAMPAGNE SALLY and RUNYA DOWN to lose ground. Approaching the finishing line CHAMPAGNE SALLY and RUNYA DOWN bumped.

Even start with PAY THE WAY marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start ELEGANT STRIDER and PAY THE WAY bumped at the same time TEE SNOW and MAGICAL YESSAM were bumping. Approaching the 200m VENOM STRIKES and TWEED DANCER collided. At the same time MAGICAL YESSAM shifted out. At the 200m ELEGANT STRIDER shifted in. At the 100m PAY THE WAY and VENON STRIKES shifted in with ELEGANT STRIDER shifting out.

7.	CAPALABA GRAND PRIX HEAT 2 366M Even start with LEEROY ROGUE and IMA PACEMAN slow. Shortly after the start GOOD YEAR and LEEROY ROGUE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. Approaching the 200m GOOD YEAR, LEEROY ROGUE and IMA PACEMAN collided resulting in GOOD YEAR to shift in and lose ground. Leaving the 200m UNIQUE MOTIVE and TOO MANY BILLS shifted out. The greyhound GOOD YEAR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8.	RQ YOUNG GUNS FINAL 366M Even start. Shortly after the start BONKNOCKA PRINCE, BONKNOCKA BEANS, INDIANA BENZ, WILDASH NELLY and SIR TO YOU all collided resulting in all greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the 200m INDIANA BENZ shifted out. At the 200m INDIANA BENZ and STRAIGHT SHADOW resulting in STRAIGHT SHADOW to shift in and lose ground, at the same time SIR TO YOU and WILDASH NELLY shifted in colliding with BONKNOCKA BEANS resulting in WILDASH NELLY and BONKNOCKA BEANS to lose ground.

5^th GRADE 366M

Even start. Shortly after the start TURBO BURN and RED STEEL shifted out colliding resulting in both to lose ground. At the same time MY NAMES SANDY and BIG TRIGGER collided resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the 200m TURBO BURN and RED STEEL collided on numerous occasions resulting in both greyhounds to lose significant ground.

The greyhound RED STEEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned Mr Mark Ware about the performance which he stated the greyhound had suffered extreme amount of interference and it was only his second start back from a spell.
