Stewards Trial 1 – 366m The greyhound GAS
UP ISA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 366m in
a time of 20.49 and is now cleared at Capalaba only up to 366m. |

MAIDEN 366M KANOJO
was best to begin. TSAR BOMBER shifted
out and checked FROSTY BLUE JAY immediately after the start. TSAR BOMBER shifted out and impeded STETSON
JESS at the 200m. |

GRADE 366M PARIS FRANCE was best to begin. NOTORIOUS HERO was marginally slow to
begin. SHUNT MAN and NOTORIOUS HERO
raced tight and bumped at the 200m.
BIG TRIGGER started to shift to the inside from the 200m. UNQIUE MOTIVE shifted in and impeded SHUNT
MAN just prior to the finishing line. The greyhound BIG WINSTON underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. R Enright
in regards to the greyhound’s performance.
Mr. Enright stated that the greyhound was getting old although was
still trialling well at the track and wasn’t putting it together on race
day. Stewards noted his explanation
and advised they would be monitoring the greyhound’s future racing performances. |

SULZANTI @ STUD NOVICE 520M TORNEY was
slow to begin and shifted in. WHO DAT
GUN started shifting to the outside just prior to the 200m and checked TOOKA
TRIP on a number of occasions as it did, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. TOOKA TRIP shifted to the
inside and raced tight with TORNEY and collided on a number of occasions over
the concluding stages of the race, causing both greyhounds to lose any
competitive chance in the race. The greyhound
TORNEY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

5th GRADE BITCHES 366M CHASING RAINBOWS and CATCH ME KEITH were best to
begin. JAYCEE’S LADY and BUTTON PUSHER
bumped immediately after the start.
Just prior to the 200m BUTTON PUSHER shifted in and checked CATCH ME
KEITH with both greyhounds losing ground.
JAYCEE’S LADY and CHASING RAINBOWS raced tight and bumped just after
the 200m. SPUDASTIC was tightened for
racing room and impeded approaching the last 100m. CATCH ME KEITH and BUTTON PUSHER raced
tight and bumped over the concluding stages of the race. |

GRADE 366M ALL ABOUT TIGER, LUCITA and ACE were best to begin. MR. BELVEDERE shifted out and bumped BETTER
SIZE immediately after the start.
ROCKIN’ ALL OVER shifted out and collided with BETTER SIZE shortly
after causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
ACE shifted off the heels of ALL ABOUT TIGER just after the 200m. GIFTED PINES and ROCKIN’ ALL OVER raced
tight and checked approaching the last 100m. |

BEST 8 366M Even start. Just
after the 200m IM A HOTSHOT shifted out behind TWEED DANCER and collided with
STRAIGHT SHADOW then stumbled and collided with CARBOOK LAD causing I’M A
HOTSHOT, STRAIGHT SHADOW and CARBROOK LAD to lose any competitive chance in
the race. |
