Approaching the winning post, VALKYRIE BLUE and VELOCITY ONYX raced

GREYHOUND SYNDICATES AUSTRALIA 5TH GRADE (1) –
366M Even start.
Approaching the 200m, TSAR BOMBER, DEE WASHINGTON, MR. TERRIFIC, MR.
CRAIG US and TURN AND BURN all collide, causing MR. CRAIG US to check and
lose ground, taking no further competitive part in the event. Approaching the 100m, TSAR BOMBER and BRAVE
ULYSSES bump on a number of occasions. The greyhound MR. CRAIG US underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MR. CRAIG US underwent a 2nd post race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near
fore metacarpal and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |
