FAWNY was best to begin. At the start
ROYAL PLAY, LADY GRAND and HAY YOU FELLA all collided and were
unbalanced. WHO SAID SO checked off
heels. |

JOHN CATTON APPRECIATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 CLAMPET
DRYVA and SIRIUS STAR were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start all runners collided and were checked to
varying degrees, with the exception of PARIS FRANCE, which raced in clear
running. Passing the 200m SLICK
SHANNON and LION’S BLUE collided and were unbalanced. Over the concluding stages SLICK SHANNON
checked off heels and collided with REBEL KENNELLY. |

HEAT 2 – 366M PAY
THE WAY was best to begin, while STICKY STICKA was slow. Shortly after the start, LA BAMBA and
STICKY STICKA came together.
SPUDTASTIC shifted to the outside of the track. Passing the 200m SIMPLY MAGIC checked off
heels on 2 occasions, and shifted to the inside of track. The
greyhound NOSMO KING underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the calf muscle and was stood down for a
period of 7 days. |

HAPPY BELATED B’DAY JACK SINGH 5TH GRADE HEAT
3 – 366M FANCY
FREEL was best to begin. Shortly after
the start, MR. BELVEDERE and SONNY GEORGE came together. Approaching the final 3rd,
DORIE’S PICK lost ground. The
greyhound DORIE’S PICK underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood
down for a period of 28 days. |

TRIP began well. At the start, INDIANA
PRINCESS shifted out hampering TSAR BOMBER, CHIPPIES, LAKE BUELAH and GIFTED
PINES. Passing the 200m, TSAR BOMBER
and LAKE BUELAH raced tight and were unbalanced. DEMON FURY checked off heels and shifted to
the inside of the track. Leaving the
200m, MONDELLA checked off heels. Over
the concluding stages, GIFTED PINES shifted to the inside of the track. |
