satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 366m, in a
time of 20.02, and is now cleared to race at
Capalaba straight track only.
The greyhound MAGIC SPARKLE performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 366m, in a time
of 20.96
and is now cleared to race.

WINNIE’S PEST CONTROL NOVICE – 366M Best away was
HAY HONEY, with NOSMO KING slowly away.
Soon after the start, QUAKER STATE crossed the outside checking MONTRATCHET. Approaching the halfway point, MONTRACHET
crossed to the outside. Pass the
halfway point, KULU COSMO crossed to the inside checking QUAKER STATE. Approaching the finish line, QUAKER STATE
turned its head outwards making muzzle contact with HAY HONEY. The greyhound
NOSMO KING underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have
sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of
10 days. Connection to
the greyhound QUAKER STATE were
advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring 2nd
Offence, with a 3 month stand down period, and greyhound to perform
satisfactory stewards’ trail, prior to racing. |

NIGHT slowly away. Approaching the
halfway point, SHOW BOUND crossed to the inside, with CLAMPET DRYVA crossing
the centre of the track. Approaching
the winning post, VALKYRIE NIGHT crossed to the outside. |

PLUMBING 4TH GRADE – 366M Best away was HARA’S FLAME, with ANOTHER
RED slowly away. Approaching the
halfway point, PAY THE WAY crossed to the inside. Approaching the winning post, NOTORIOUS
HERO checked off the heels of FARMOR IN TUNE.
The greyhound HARA’S FLAME underwent a
post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound
OUTBACK SUNSHINE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found
to have sustained a back strain injury and was stood down for a period of 7
days. |

greyhound to drop back sharply.
