Race 1 – JUST GREYHOUNDS PHOTOS MAIDEN – 366M

 

Best away was BEKIM THIS and WHAT A DIVA, with COMMON GROUND slowly away.  Approaching the half way point, VALDA THE VIKING and COMMON GROUND collide.  Approaching the winning post, TOOK A TICKET crossed to the outside.

 

Race 2 – ON THE BUNNY GREYHOUND TIPS MAIDEN FINAL – 366M

 

Best away was COCONUT LASS, with BLUE THUNDER BUD slowly away.  Soon after the start, COCONUT LASS and BLUE THUNDER BUD crossed to the outside.  Approaching the half way point, GIFT crossed to the inside checking FROSTY BLACK JAY and MY BRO DOUGIE.  At the half way point, BLUE THUNDER BUD checked off the heels of BUD’S MILLAR.  Approaching the line, FROSTY BLACK JAY crossed to the outside. 

 

Race 3 – MELB CUP @ CAP GREYS 5TH GRADE (1) – 366M

 

Best away was SMART WERINA and RED VEE, with MONDELLA and KENATAY slowly away.  Approaching the half way mark, KENATAY crossed to the inside.  Pass the half way mark, LA BAMBA crossed to the outside.

 

The greyhound KENATAY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 4 – SWAN PLUMBING SUPPLIES CAPALABA 5TH GRADE (2) – 366M

 

Even start, with VIKING BUDDY slowly away.  Soon after the start, ELOISE and VIKING BUDDY collide.  Approaching the half way mark, TOOK A RHYNO crossed to the outside.  Pass the half way mark, ELOISE and VIKING BUDDY collide.

 

The greyhound TOOK A RHYNO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – BEV TEAL APPRECIATION 5TH GRADE (3) – 366M

 

Best away was MISTER CHAOS and GIFTED PINES, with MONTAIGNE slowly away.  Approaching the half way point, MONTAIGNE checked off the heels of GIFTED PINES, causing MONTAIGNE to cross to the inside.  Pass the half way point, MUSTANG NOVA crossed to the outside checking FIVE OF SPADES.

 

Race 6 – CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT 5TH GRADE – 366M

 

Best away was SATIN LUSTRE, with AERIAL DYNAMITE slowly away.  Soon after the start, POCKY’S PRINCESS and FABIO MARSHA collide.  Approaching the half way point, VANDERWEGHE crossed, checking TOOK A SELFIE.  Pass the half way point, VANDERWEGHE crossed to the inside, with SATIN LUSTRE crossing to the outside. 

 

Race 7 – KRISTA’S MOUSTACHE DASH 5TH GRADE FINAL – 366M

 

Best away was LION’S BLUE, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, LION’S BLUE crossed to the outside checking TOOKA TRIP, which in turn caused TOOKA TRIP to cross the inside.  Pass the half way point, STICKY STICKA crossed to the centre of the track.

 

Race 8 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING CONTRACTORS MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 366M

 

Best away was LOVE THE LOOK, with the rest evenly away.  Approaching the half way point, SWIFT NIMROD crossed to the outside checking FREE SPIRIT.

 

The greyhound FREE SPIRIT underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
