Race 1 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, NOIRE DREAM shifted out.  Leaving the 200m, LITTLE MISS LISA shifted in and clipped heels. 

 

Race 2 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND NOVICE – 366M

 

Even start with ROSDUE MATAO marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, HAY HONEY shifted in, checking BOO CAN BABE, at the same time, VALDA THE VIKING shifted out.  Approaching the 200m, ROSDUE MATAO clipped heels, at the same time, BOO CAN BABE shifted out.

 

The greyhound SILVER LUX underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – HAPPY BIRTHDAY WAYNE HARRIS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 366M

 

DAM THE MAN was best to begin, with ROSDUE KIRRA marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, TOOK A RHYNO, MYONA MORPHEUS, LITTLE LIVEWIRE and MISTER CHAOS collided, at the same time, DAM THE MAN shifted out.  Approaching the 200m, MYONA MORPHEUS shifted in checking TOOK A RHYNO.  Leaving the 200m, TOOK A RHYNO shifted out checking TZSAR BOMBER and ROSDUE KIRRA.  At the 100m, TOOK A RHYNO and ROSDUE KIRRA bumped on numerous occasions. 

 

Race 4 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING CONTRACTORS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 366M

 

TOOKA TRIP and AMBER MARIE were best to begin, with ROSDUE KOLA marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, JAYCEE’S LADY shifted out checking GIFTED PINES.  At the 100m, DAISY RUMBLE shifted out, at the same time, ROSUDE KOLA shifted in. 

 

Race 5 – CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT 5TH GRADE HEAT3 – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, HOOT and CATER STREET collided, causing TOOK A FERGUS to be checked, at the same time, NO MORE CAKE shifted out.  At the 200m, SAY GOOD DAY clipped heels, shifted in and lost ground.  At the 100m, TOOK A FERGUS got onto the heels of ROSDUE MISTY, causing both greyhounds to fall and give no further competitive part in the race. 

 

The greyhound ROSDUE MISTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 6 – MARGARET COBBIN 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 – 366M

 

Even start, with SPRING IVAN marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, all greyhounds, with the exception of ALWAYS ALBURY, collided and lost ground at differing degrees.  Approaching the 200m, AERIAL DYNAMITE, and TOOK A SELFIE shifted in.  Leaving the 100m, EL DOUBLE ONE clipped heels and was hampered.

 

Race 7 – KEYBOW @ STUD MIXED 3/4TH GRADE – 366M

 

Even start.  Shortly after the start, MSSY FERGUS and FREE SPIRIT collided.  Approaching the 200m, NAUGHTY MAX shifted in, with MISSY FERGUS shifting out.  Leaving the 200m, EMPIRE REIGN and DESTINI PEGASUS bumped on numerous occasions.  At the 100m, FREE SPIRIT commenced to give ground in open running. 

 

The greyhound FREE SPIRIT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
