General:

Hetti’s Produce (R4) and Tyler Lee (R8) were declared late scratchings at 8:59am. Trainer M. Card was fined $100 for failing to scratch by the prescribed time.

Skye Diva was declared a late scratching at end of kennelling when the greyhound was found to have a weight variation in excess of the allowed 2kg under GAR 39(2). Trainer P. Carleton was fined $50.

1 Lynny's Honey – bumped with another runner on a number of occasions in the early stages. Shifted out across heels near the 200m.

2 Queen Poppy – shifted out on jumping and bumped with other runners.

3 Courtois – tightened and checked at the start. Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions in the early stages.

4 Safety Pin – bumped by another runner at the start.

5 Chip Chop – bumped by another runner at the start, then shifted in across heels behind runners. Checked off heels near 200m.

6 Julia Mulwee – when questioned on the performance, trainer D. Fitzgerald advised that he did expect the greyhound to be competitive and win todays event. He further added that he expects the greyhound to progress in its racing program to 520m in the future. He advised he did support the greyhound in todays event.

7 Black Gwydion - collided with another runner near the 100m and became momentarily unbalanced.

8 Big Cheese Mail - collided with another runner near the 100m.

Race 2 – CAPALABA GREYHOUNDS ON FACEBOOK MAIDEN (2) 366m

3 Secure Mail – bumped shortly after the start and was hampered. Bumped by another runner leaving the 300m. Shortly after this incident, Secure Mail sustained an injury took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle and the greyhound was stood down for 28 days.

4 Fear The Spirits – tightened between runners at the start. Shifted inwards leaving the 300m and bumped with another runner.

5 Sylvan – bumped shortly after the start. Shifted in across heels near the 300m. Raced greenly for a majority of the event.

7 Barbaresco – Began awkwardly.

Race 3 – JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE 366m

2 Broich – improved onto heels near the 300m and was checked.

3 Cunnamulla Fella – shifted out across heels near the 250m, collided with another runner and lost ground.

4 Cool Woman – Galloped on heels by another runner near 250m and checked.

5 Patty Mcginty – collided with another runner near the 250m and was further dictated outwards on the track when that runner continued shifting outwards.

Race 4 – NSTC G/FINAL GO QLD!! MA5 (1) 366m

9/2 Chasing Rainbows - shifted out across heels over the concluding stages and lost ground. Under advice from the starter, Stewards cancelled the Hard-To-Box endorsement.

4 Blow The Senor – bumped with other runners at the start and was hampered. Shifted out across heels over the concluding stages.

5 Hi Que – Slow to begin.

6 Lone Eagle – tightened between runners at the start and was checked.

7 Black Scorpion – bumped with other runners at the start and hampered.

Race 5 – MICHAEL MILLER MEMORIAL CAP 366 FINAL GRADE 5 366m

5 Stern – bumped at the start and hampered.

6 Stinger Noir – slow to begin. Checked off heels near the 300m and became momentarily unbalanced. Bumped the hindquarters of another runner when approaching the 100m.

7 Aberdeen – bumped at the start and hampered. Contacted on the hindquarters by another runner near the 100m and checked.

Race 6 – WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 5 (1) 366m

4 Franz Propp – bumped shortly after the start.

5 Backhander – blundered shortly after the start and lost ground.

6 Solo Pilot – slow to begin.

Race 7 – KEYBOW @ STUD GRADE 5 (2) 366m

1 Redeal – collided with another runner near the 150m and was checked.

9/3 Time And Place – bumped with another runner near the 250m.

4 Bronze Horseman – began awkwardly. Collided with another runner near the 150m and was checked. Collided with another runner near the 100m and was checked.

5 Cobo's Eels – began awkwardly. Collided with another runner near the 150m and was checked. Collided with another runner near the 100m and was checked.

6 Dynamite Lucy – bumped with another runner near the 250m.

9/3 Time And Place – bumped with another runner near the 250m.

Race 8 – CORNERSTONE RISK MANAGEMENT MIXED 3/4 366m

3 Flew Bye You – tightened between runners near the 200m and was hampered.

9/5 Kenatay – slow to begin.

4 Blackpearl Girl – shifted out on jumping and collided with another runner.
