Other Comments / Explanations: Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races
Race 1 - LONELY DRIFTER 20TH ANNIVERSARY MAIDEN (1) 366m 3 Cut Flash – hampered near the 200m. 7 Cawbourne Shelly – checked shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its near fore stopper pad and was stood down from racing for 10 days. 8 Riley's Reason – shifted in shortly after the start.
Race 2 – LONELY DRIFTER 34 WINS @ CAPALABA MAIDEN (2) 366m 2 My Purple Rain – collided with another runner on a number of occasions in the early stages of the race. 3 Marvel Boy - collided with another runner on a number of occasions in the early stages of the race.
Race 3 – MARILYN GOUGH NOVICE (1) 366m 5 We Have Solo – shifted in shortly after the start. Shifted out near the 200m. 7 He's Scandalous - shifted in shortly after the start.
Race 4 – MICHELLE STELLA NOVICE (2) 366m 1 Bits And Pieces – shifted out and collided with another runner near the 200m. 4 Stoney Typhoon – shifted out shortly after the start. 5 Cyber Storm – collided with another runner and was checked near the 200m. 7 Tiger Lenny - shifted in shortly after the start.
Race 5 – THE DRIFTER'S BAR MA5 366m 9 (Box4) – shifted out near the 200m. 7 Are Jay Smiley – commenced to give ground near the 150m to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Underwent a post-race Veterinary examination which revealed it to have injured its stomach muscle and was stood down from racing for 21 days.
Race 6 – JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 366m 1 Key West – checked shortly after the start. 2 Centigram – shifted out shortly after the start. 3 Brooklyn Miss - shifted in shortly after the start. 5 Morris The Great - shifted out shortly after the start. 6 Dusty's Charlie – collided heavily with another runner on a number of occasions from the 200m till reaching the 100m. 8 Fedor - collided heavily with another runner on a number of occasions from the 200m till reaching the 100m.
Race 7 – JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 366m 1 Awesome Dream - shifted out shortly after the start and collided with another runner. Checked off heels and hampered near the 100m. 2 Rising Beyond - shifted out shortly after the start. 6 Good Boy Ivan – collided with another runner shortly after the start.
Race 8 – JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 366m 2 Uncle Dawell – shifted out and collided with another shortly after the start. Shifted out near the 200m. 3 Jasper The Jet – slipped on the mat. Collided with another shortly after the start. 7 Franz Propp – shifted in near the 100m.
Race 9 – LONELY DRIFTER GOTY 1998 MIXED 3/4 366m 4 Raised By Wolves – bumped with another runner on a number of occasions near the 250m. 7 Proper Gent - collided with another shortly after the start. Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions near the 250m. 8 Made In America - collided with another shortly after the start. Shifted in near the 150m.
Race 10 – JEFFERY JONES CELEBRATION OF LIFE 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 366m 4 Bronze Horseman – Declared a late scratching on Veterinarian’s advice at 3-28pm when the greyhound slipped its collar and ran the distance of the event. A subsequent Veterinary examination revealed it to be suffering from stress and was stood down from racing for 7 days. After hearing an explanation from trainer C Cassidy no further action was taken. 7 Galway Ludwig - shifted in shortly after the start. Shifted out near the 100m.
