Race 4 - MELBOURNE CUP DAY @ CAP GREYS OPEN 366m

1 My Girl Gracey Shifted out shortly after the start and raced wide for the majority of stages of the race.

Race 5 - WYNNUM HAULAGE 5PW 366m

1 She's So Gnarley Bumped shortly after the start.

2 Maywyn Onyx Bumped shortly after the start.

3 Diamond Queen Bumped shortly after the start.

4 Quirky Cassie Bumped shortly after the start.

5 Rebellious Nick Bumped shortly after the start. Raced erratically and Shifted attention away from the lure over the final stages of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a injury to the calf (strain) 10 days stand down from racing. Stewards spoke to Trainer B Wellington regarding the greyhounds racing matters in running the final stage of the event. After viewing the video footage acting under the provisions of GAR 69(a) Rebellious Nick was suspended from racing for 3 months and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

2 Rusty Jax Commences to give ground shortly after the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side pin muscle and off side wrist, 21 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to trainer R Buxton regarding the greyhounds racing matters in running. After viewing the video footage acting under the provisions of GAR 69(a) Pete’s Legacy was suspended from racing for 28 days at Capalaba and must perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
