Race 2 - CORNERSTONE RISK NOVICE 366m

1 Ignition Source – Approaching the 250m shifted up the track sharply.

3 Line Of Sight – Shortly after the start bumped with another runner.

5 Samson Brockie – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 300m checked across heels.

Race 4 - TVATI GREYHOUND 1-3 WINS HEAT 2 1-3 WINS 366m

1 Whiskey Business – Shortly after the start bumped with another runner.

5 Lady Swiss – Leaving the 300m bumped with another runner.

6 Hop Along Hope – Leaving the 300m was inconvenienced.

7 Master Act – Approaching the 300m bumped with another runner. Leaving the 300m was inconvenienced.

8 Avoid The Issue - Approaching the 300m bumped with another runner. Leaving the 300m bumped with another runner then severely checked and then fell, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near side long bone fracture and was stood down from racing for 12 weeks. The greyhound was administered pain relief on course and  transported to North Lakes veterinarian clinic for clinical assessment. This matter will be referred to the greyhound racing injury review panel.
