General:

A malfunction with one of the air conditioning units in the kennel block was detected after kennelling, whilst the problem was being assessed stewards and on course veterinarian took temperature readings and deemed the meeting safe to proceed. The kennel temperatures were monitored throughout the day to ensure the safety and welfare of the greyhounds. _____________

Race 1 - DON AND DENISE MAIDEN 366m

1 Alpha Tiara – Checked shortly after the start. Shifted out approaching the 100m. Checked leaving the 100m.

3 Why Whisper – Checked shortly after the start. Severely checked approaching the 200m. Shifted out approaching the 100m. Checked leaving the 100m.

4 Thornbird – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Cutting Wheel – Checked shortly after the start. Turned head outwards but did not make contacted with another runner approaching the finishing line. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Charged under R69A Failing to pursue 2^nd offence 3months at all tracks and 1 steward’s trial.

6 Alpha Duchess – Began awkwardly.

7 Little Sash – Began awkwardly. Severely checked approaching the 200m.

Race 2 - WELCOME BACK TO CAPALABA MAIDEN 366m

2 Wild Mister – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Wild Lucky – Slipped and began awkwardly. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Charged under R71 Unsatisfactory performance requiring 1 steward’s trial.

6 Gotham Ethics – Bumped shortly after the start.

7 Chasing Bucks – Bumped shortly after the start. Shifted in approaching the 200m.

8 What A Nose – Began awkwardly.

Race 3 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS NOVICE (1) 366m

2 Brigginshaw – Bumped shortly after the start. Bumped and shifted out approaching the 200m.

4 Antonio's Pride – Bumped shortly after the start. Checked at the 200m.

5 Torrid Sea – Bumped approaching the 200m.

7 Time To Enjoy – Shifted in and checked at the 200m.

Race 4 - TREVOR MCSHERRY APPRECIATION NOVICE (2) 366m

Race 5 - REMEMBERING DR JOHN MA5 366m

1 We Have Solo – Shifted out and checked at the 100m.

6 Lucky Hero – Bumped on numerous occasions shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found an injury to the nail bed and was stood down for 5 days.

7 Betty Jo – Bumped on numerous occasions shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 200m. Shifted in at the 200m. Shifted out approaching the 100m.

Race 6 – WYNNUM HAULAGE MIXED 4/5 366m

1 Magic Mindy – Clipped heels leaving the 200m.

5 Murphy’s Mate – Began awkwardly. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration above the offside eye and stood down for 10 days.

6 Lomachenko – Bumped shortly after the start.

7 Sock’s Sure Can – Bumped shortly after the start.

Race 7 – SENTENCED AT STUD MIXED ¾ 366m

1 Jackie’s Big Boy – Checked on numerous occasions approaching the 200m. Shifted out leaving the 200m.

2 Cake Is Good – Shifted out approaching the 200m.

4 Lucky Lindy – Checked shortly after the start. Shifted out and checked other runners approaching the 200m.

5 Trance – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Checked on numerous occasions approaching the 200m.

6 Hooked On Henry – Checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 200m.

7 Light My Flyer – Checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 200m.

Race 8 – SHANE MURPHY PAINTING BEST 8 366m

2 Born To Run – Shifted out and checked numerous other runners approaching the 100m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have 3 dislocated toes and was stood down for 28 days, requiring 1 injury trial to return to racing.

3 Chad Sure Can – Checked shortly after the start. Clipped heels approaching the 200m.

4 Miracle Ghost – Checked shortly after the start.

5 Bogie Fury – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Checked at the 200m, checked approaching the 100m.

6 Austrian Legend – Checked shortly after the start. Checked approaching the 200m. Checked approaching the 100m.
