4 Horchata – Slipped leaving the boxes.  Severely checked shortly after the start. Shifted out approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a injury to the offside shoulder and stood down for 14 days.

Race 9 - WYNNUM HAULAGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 366m

2 Johnny Fernando – Checked shortly after the start.

3 Burnt Briar – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.

4 Awesome Ability – Checked shortly after the start.

6 Totally Focused – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside hip and stood down for 7 days.

8 Samson Brockie – Turned head inwards but did not make muzzle contact approaching the finishing line. GAR 124 Failing to Pursue 28 days all tracks and a steward’s trial. Stewards declared this greyhound hard to box in future events.
