2 Curious Caza – Bumped soon after the start, bumped on several occasions over the concluding stages.

 

3 Calypso Ripple – Bumped then checked soon after the start.

 

4 Cheeky Grub – Bumped soon after the start.

 

5 Lorna's Creek – Bumped soon after the start, checked passing the 200m.

 

6 Jackson's Miss – Bumped passing the 300m, bumped on several occasions over the concluding stages.

 

8 Long Way Out – Bumped passing the 300m.

 

 

Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

Start was delayed approximately 3 minutes due to High Power undergoing a pre-race Veterinary examination.

 

1 Tuta Grizzly – Went up with the lids.

 

2 High Powered – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. Bumped with another runner on several occasions soon after the start, checked passing the 300m.

 

3 Whispering Jack – Checked soon after the start, bumped on several occasions approaching the 200m.

 

4 Sad Man's Tongue – Shifted in abruptly soon after then start bumped with another runner on several occasions, checked passing the 300m, bumped with another runner on several occasions approaching the 200m, gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

5 Atomic Ripple – Checked soon after the start, bumped on several occasions passing the 300m, checked approaching the 200m, checked across heels passing the 100m.

 

6 Mclintock – Checked soon after the start, checked approaching the 200m, checked passing the 200m.

 

7 Hayman Beach – Checked soon after the start.

 

8 Mr Fresh – Shifted in and bumped with another runner soon after the start, checked approaching the 200m, severely checked passing the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 3 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC NOVICE (1) 366m

 

2 Ayaya – Collided with another runner passing the 200m.

 

3 Salamanca – Checked across heels approaching the winning post.

 

6 Kick Son – Went up with the lids, collided with another runner passing the 200m.

 

 

Race 4 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT NOVICE (2) 366m

 

2 Alpha Yoong – Checked passing the 300m.

 

3 Blazing Arizona – Gave ground from the 200m and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hip support injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

4 Oceanic Ripple – Checked passing the 300m.

4 Brightest Gunn – Checked approaching the winning post.

 

5 Black Idol – Checked passing the 300m, checked passing the 200m.

 

6 Crystal Chaos – Checked approaching the winning post.

Race 6 - WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

2 Antonio Gift – Late scratching at 11.05am – Back muscle injury.

 

3 Rocky Lorry – Checked passing the 300m.

 

4 Jungle Duke – Checked passing the 200m, gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

5 Hara's Rusty – Severely checked and fell passing the 300m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

7 Queen Missile – Checked passing the 300m, checked passing the 200m.

3 Cool Hand Rick – Checked soon after the start, gave ground from the 250m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip support injury the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

1 Inner Tea Cup – Checked soon after the start, became unbalanced passing the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Adam Mcintosh regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr Mcintosh stated that although it may have not been the best suited race for the greyhound, he did expect it to finish off better than it did in today’s event and will monitor the greyhounds recovery.

 

2 Jimary Cricket – Collided with another runner soon after the start.

 

4 Action Now – Shifted in and collided with another runner soon after the start.

 

6 Cracking Force – Bumped soon after the start.
