Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside flank and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative Ms P Rigg regarding the greyhound’s racing manners nearing the 100m mark of the event, after considering their live observation, reviewing the video replay and submissions, stewards deemed that Winlock Lloyd did make muzzle contact with the greyhound to its inside therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Winlock Lloyd was suspended from racing at All tracks for 3 months and until the completion of two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next. |
