Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

5 Smooth Swagger – Checked approaching the 200m. On numerous occasions leaving the 200m turned its head inwards without making muzzle contact with another runner. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the offside biceps and was stood down from racing for a period of 14 days. Stewards spoke to Trainer. R. Jacobsen regarding the racing manners of Smooth Swagger. After considering all available evidence Stewards invoked GAR125(1)(a) for failure to pursue by reason of injury and the greyhound must also complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
