Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

2 Sad Man's Tongue – Following the running of Race 1 the greyhound was not vetted, it was stewards opinion the greyhound had closed off strongly and had performed well above market expectation. After arriving home licenced trainer Mr Kevin Kemp notified steward’s that he believed the greyhound may have a suspected injury and was taken to an off-course Veterinary clinic for examination.

 

5 Lorna's Flying – Shortly after the start the greyhound was severely checked and lost momentum.

 

6 Austrian Jewel - Shortly after the start was severely checked and lost momentum. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Steward questioned licenced trainer Mr Robert Peshchke regarding the greyhound’s manners approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr Peschke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, the greyhound was given benefit of the doubt regarding its racing manners approaching the winning post.

 

 

Race 2 - DON & DENISE MAIDEN 366m

 

8 Kahlia's Pride - Bumped passing the 200m and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 3 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT NOVICE 366m

 

No significant racing incidents.

 

Race 4 - LEEROY ROGUE GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

No significant racing incidents.

 

Race 5 - WWW.ONTHECLOCK.COM.AU GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

5 Shishkin – Checked approaching the 200m and lost ground. Leaving the 200m the greyhound shifted to the inside and raced throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near fore stopper injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

6 Getaway Gherkin – Checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings

 

Race 6 - NSTC AUGUST 2023 GRADE 5 (3) 366m

 

5 Caramel Queen – Marginally slow to begin. Checked shortly after the start.

 

Race 7 – WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

2 Hara’s Donny – Bumped leaving the 200m. Bumped leaving the 100m

 

4 Here Wolfe – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 8 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC MIXED 3/4 366m

 

7 I'm Peakin' – Marginally slow away. Shortly after the start shifted to the far outside of the track and race throughout.

 

Race 9 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

1 Climb a Rainbow - A post-race veterinary examination revealed a split webbing injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 10 – TAB MA5 366m

 

No significant racing incidents.
