Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

2 Third Choice Shifted out and turned its head to the outside making muzzle contact with another runner approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side fore leg, 7 days stand down from racing.

8 Corporate Kane Stewards spoke to Kerry Hoggan, the trainer of Corporate Kane regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the finish. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Corporate Kane was found in breach and suspended for 28 days and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

4 Phantom Phoenix Shifted out and turned its head to the outside making muzzle contact with another runner approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near side fore leg, 10 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to Chris Brydon, the trainer of Phantom Phoenix regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the finish. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, Phantom Phoenix was found in breach and suspended for 28 days and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 6 - SENTENCED AT STUD GRADE 4 366m

8 She’s A Sully Shifted in and turned its head to the inside making muzzle contact with another runner approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near fore leg, 14 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to Barry Jones, the handler of She’s A Sully regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the finish. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring, She’s A Sully was found in breach and suspended for 28 days and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 7 - WYNNUM HAULAGE GRADE 5 (2) 366m

2 Antonio Gift Stumbled passing 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

6 Lucky Dragon A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near fore leg, 5 days stand down from racing.

Stewards spoke to George Kadniak, the Trainer of Zack The Black regarding its performance in running and at box rise. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129, Zack The Black must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
