Race 1 - DON AND DENISE MAIDEN 366m

 

4 Botticelli – Leaving the 200 metres turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. Approaching the 100 metres turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer John Kuhn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE MAIDEN 366m

 

3 Looks Good – Leaving the boxes turned its head inwards towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer representative Lawrence Topping regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2 November – At approximately the 150 metres lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside back muscle injury and was stood down for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7 Cutting Shapes – Approaching the 100 metres was checked and then lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside hip injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
