2. Canoe Paddler – At approximately the 300 metres checked around heels and then shortly after checked around heels again. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

1. Cyrus Leaving the 100 metres was checked and dragged down. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

5. Hudson Bay – Beaten favourite. Shortly after the start was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

7. Hurry Up Blazer – Beaten favourite. Went up with the lids and was slow to begin. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Chris Brydon regarding the greyhound’s performance. Chris Brydon stated the greyhound sat down in the boxes which he has not done previously, and this caused the greyhound to miss the start. Stewards noted the explanation.

2. Lightning Comet – Began awkwardly. Shortly after the start was checked. At approximately the 300 metres was checked. At approximately the 100 metres was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a nearside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

4. Clover – Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under GAR106(2) advised trainer Stephen Howarth that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future races.

 

5. Bronze Bomber - Beaten favourite. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

 

8. Sirius Keith ­- Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under GAR106(2) advised trainer Steve Swift that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future races.
