7. Hurry Up Blazer – Beaten favourite. Went up with the lids and was slow to begin. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Chris Brydon regarding the greyhound’s performance. Chris Brydon stated the greyhound sat down in the boxes which he has not done previously, and this caused the greyhound to miss the start. Stewards noted the explanation. |
