Race 6 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS GRADE 5 (3) 366m

 

1 Indian Heat Turned it’s head to the outside away from the lure and shifted out approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off side shoulder 10 days.

 

Indian Heat underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a shoulder injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Nicoll Connell regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the finish. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury Indian Heat was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

 

Race 7 - MELBOURNE CUP DAY @ CAPALABA GREYS GRADE 5 366m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards’.

 

Race 8 - SENTENCED AT STUD GRADE 4 366m

 

7 Benny’s Jet Severely checked and fell approaching 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the foreleg, 90 days stand down from racing and satisfactory completion of one stewards trial prior to racing next.

 

8 Mercury Severely checked and fell approaching 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the head, 21 days stand down from racing.
