Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE 366m

 

5 Cyclone Isla – Severely tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Commenced to give ground in opening running approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the offside hip support and stood down for 7 days.

 

 

 

Race 3 - CLIFF HOUSTON NEW CAPALABA LIFE MEMBER GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

3 Antonio’s Pride – Checked shortly after the start. Shifted in approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside stopper and stood down for 7 days.

 

6 Bear Bonus – Checked shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the nearside hind webbing and stood down for 10 days.

 

 

 

Race 4 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC GRADE 5 (2) 366m

3 Over Run – Began awkwardly. Checked, became unbalanced and fell approaching the 200m. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a nearside foreleg injury and stood for 90 days, requires an injury trial to return to racing. This matter will be referred to the Racing injury review panel.

 

 

 

Race 5 - SENTENCED @ STUD CAPALABA FUTURITY HEAT 1 OPEN 366m

Race 6 - SENTENCED @ STUD CAPALABA FUTURITY HEAT 2 OPEN 366m

1 Alberton Park – Checked on numerous occasions shortly after the start and approaching the 200m.

5 Cyrus – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Checked on numerous occasions for most of the race. Underwent a post- race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.
