Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

2 Red Yogi – Gave ground from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Anne Clelland regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mrs Clelland stated that the greyhound has only come into her trainership less than a week ago and it was the greyhounds first time on the straight track but after its performance today she intends to trial the greyhound before returning to racing back on a circle track. Stewards noted the submissions.

 

5 Galway Belle - Checked soon after the start, checked approaching the 200m, gave ground from the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE (1) 366m

Race 3 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT NOVICE (2) 366m

 

8 Up Beat – Severely checked passing the 200m, gave ground over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side pin injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

2 Villante - Late scratching at 11.10am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

 

11 Magistrate – Beaten favourite. Began awkwardly. A post-race urine sample was obtained.
