Race 1 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

2. Shian Warrior – Late scratching at 11:05am pursuant to GAR76(2) due to being not eligible as the greyhound raced at Ipswich 26 December 2023.

 

4. Jeckle ­– Approaching the 100 meters lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near side hip injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

7. I’m Driving – Leaving the 200 metres lost ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hip injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

 

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NOVICE (1) 366m

 

6. Easy To See – At approximately the 150 metres turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Rusty Dillion regarding the greyhound’s manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Faling to pursue by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 3 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION NOVICE (2) 366m

 

3. Ghost Train – Shortly after the start was checked. At approximately the 50 metres turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Bill Hutchinson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

Race 4 - TAB 5PW 366m

 

5. Sorento Breeze – A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 5 - SWOOSH FINANCE GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

7. Haunted Town – At approximately the 300 metres was checked. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 6 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

1. Clear To Pass – Shortly after the start was severely checked and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 7 - SENTENCED AT STUD GRADE 4 366m

 

4. She’s A Sully – Fell in the catching pen. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
