1 Japanese Black - Showed signed of aggression towards another runner in the catching pen. Acting under the provisions of GAR 131 Stewards advised trainer John Quarman the greyhound will now require two catchers at future events.
6 Let’s Go Rhyno – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen, which revealed a laceration to the scrotum, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

4 Zipping Parker - Late scratching at 11.00am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a back muscle injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

3 Hot Rio Nights – Became unbalanced passing the 200m and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside wrist injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

2 Princess Azara – Began awkwardly, faltered in its action passing the 200m then gave ground and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side wrist injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

Race 10 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT 1-3 WINS HEAT 4 1-3 WINS 366m |
4 Turbo Mia – Shifted out towards another runner taking its attention away from the lure over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside dew claw injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Bruce Wellington regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 10 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
7 Burringbar Blue – Checked approaching the 200m, became unbalanced and gave ground from the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Robert Andrews regarding the greyhound’s action approaching the winning post. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

3 Suzie Knows – Checked soon after the start, gave ground from the 200m and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Cameron Scott regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
