7 Bay Bay – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

Race 2 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

 

6 Dubai Dust – Checked shortly after the start. Bumped leaving the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

Race 3 - WYNNUM HAULAGE NPW 366m

 

7 Piazza Minerva – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

Race 4 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION NOVICE 366m

Race 8 - SENTENCED AT STUD MIXED 3/4 366m

4 Regal Romeo – Checked across heels shortly after the start. Made heavy contact with the running rail on multiple occasions leaving the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have suffered from a neurological condition. Subsequently the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to returning to racing.

 

6 Hendy – Declared a late scratching @ 8:16am.

 

Race 9 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT GRADE 5 (3) 366m

2 Burnt Sunset – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward questioned trainer Mr C Houston in relation to the below market expectation performance of the greyhound. Mr Houston stated that he was disappointed in the greyhound’s performance however stated that to the greyhound’s detriment, Burnt Sunset had missed the start and then shifted out significantly. Further, Mr Houston added the greyhound is better suited to outside boxes. Mr Houston stated he had not supported the greyhound in today’s event.
