10 Corporate Kane – Turned its head inwards towards another runner approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed near side back muscle injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kerry Hoggan regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 14 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

8 Power Up Max - Late scratching at 11.00am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have near side front split webbing during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

All clear was delayed to afford Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to a bird on the track, after doing so Stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was effected and all clear was given on the judges numbers.

3 Tea Star – Severely checked soon after the start, checked and became unbalanced approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
