8 Showtime Brad – Performed below market expectations. Stumbled leaving the boxes, gave ground from the 200m, became unbalanced approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a back strain under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

2 Blaze Duck - Late scratching at 10.50am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

Race 9 - SENTENCED AT STUD MIXED 4/5 366m

 

1 Another Level – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

 

2 Pitter Patter – Checked soon after the start, gave ground from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

5 Winlock All Over – Began awkwardly, became unbalance then checked passing the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 10 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

4 White Like Snow – Slow to begin, checked soon after the start, faltered in its actions approaching the 200m and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside pin injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

5 Whispers – Faltered in its action passing the 300m and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hip support injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

6 Darby Display – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.
