Race 1 -JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS MAIDEN 366m

Esmeralda Cloud – Severely checked approaching the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Giddy Up Ted - A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Approaching the finishing line, the greyhound eased. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr S Sherwell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Giddy Up Ted did take its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Giddy Up Ted was suspended from racing at Capalaba for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

King Roger - Severely checked approaching the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

Race 2 - WYNNUM HAULAGE MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 366m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 3 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION NOVICE 366m

Rambling Jack - Late scratching at 10.21am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to Stewards permission the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 4 - SWOOSH FINANCE PREFERENTIAL BOX DRAW MASTERS FINAL MA5 366m

Cashmere Kaos - A post-race veterinary examination revealed a off hind back muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 5 - TREVOR MCSHERRY CLASSIC GRADE 5 (1) 366m

Sober Meredith - A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside hip injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 6 - TAB GRADE 5 (2) 366m

Early Ambition - Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised trainer Mr W Dorsamy that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.

Tails Bale – Severely checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 7 days.

Race 7 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS GRADE 4 366m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - SENTENCED AT STUD PREFERENTIAL BOX DRAW FINAL 1-3 WINS 366m

Hurry Up Blazer - A post-race veterinary examination revealed a off hind back muscle injury, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT BEST 8 366m
