1 Flying Cruiser – Eased approaching the winning post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mick Pearce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Capalaba and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
2 Pause Control - Late scratching at 8.40am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a Veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

All clear was delayed to afford Stewards the opportunity to view the film in relation to an incident during the race where Stilton Mick’s bumped with Hopetoun Street which caused the greyhounds muzzle to become caught on Hopetoun Street’s rug. After reviewing the film Stewards deemed this to be a racing incident and all clear was given on the judge’s numbers.
2 Stilton Mick – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.
3 Hopetoun Street – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.
7 Underwater – Bumped leaving the boxes. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside front foot laceration under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

2 Darby Display – Performed below market expectations. Stumbled leaving the boxes then trailed the field for the entirety of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side hind leg injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
