Race 3 - AMJ ENGINEERING & FABRICATION MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 366m

 

8 Slay All Day – Beaten favourite.  Checked shortly after the start and shifted in colliding with another runner causing it to lose ground.

 

Race 4 - CAPALABA CAR WORLD NOVICE 366m

 

2 Galway Charm – Took an awkward stride approaching the 150m mark appearing injured.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 5 - SWOOSH FINANCE PREFERENTIAL BOX DRAW 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 366m

 

6 Big Chief Size – Beaten favourite.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 6 - TAB TREVOR'S DUCK CLASSIC MIXED 4/5 366m

Race 7 - COM AV COMMUNICATIONS AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLATIONS GRADE 5 (1) 366m

 

6 Mukali – Took an awkward stride approaching the 200m mark appearing injured and took no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 8 - GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM MAO 366m

 

10 Hope In Heart - Late scratching at 10:18am due to the greyhound not being presented to Stewards within the required kennelling time. In accordance with GAR86(3)(b) Hope In Heart is prohibited from competing in any Event for a period of 28 days. Licensed trainer representative Mr William Warner entered a plea of guilty on behalf of licenced trainer Mr Bill Wormer and was fined the sum of $200.00 in respect of a charge issued pursuant to GAR76(7) as a result of the greyhound Hope In Heart being scratched for a reason which in the opinion of Stewards was unacceptable.

Race 9 - RACE REVOLUTION TIMING SYSTEMS MIXED 2/3 366m

 

5 We’re On One – Beaten favourite.  Checked on several occasions approaching the 200m mark.

 

Race 10 - SENTENCED AT STUD GRADE 5 (2) 366m

 

7 Zipping Burger - Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised trainer Tammy Hancock that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.

 

 

Race 11 - ANNUAL PEST MANAGEMENT 1-3 WINS (1) 366m

 

2 King Roger – Took an awkward stride approaching the 250m mark.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearhind limb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.
